Frequently asked questions
The most common questions we get from our clients

Tan Care
- Be sure to wear loose fitting and dark colored clothing. Long sleeve shirt and long pants are best. Try to wear or at least bring open toed sandals.
- Don’t wear any creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, deodorant, or makeup! We want an absolute bare canvas!
- If you shower before your session, do so at least 4 hours before and rinse very very well. This ensures your PH levels go back to normal as well as the temperature of your body to regulate.
- What do you wear during the tan?Whatever you want!!! You can wear underwear/bra, bathing suit, or nothing at all (18+ for nude) Your comfortability is of utmost importance to me. I do have disposable bras and thongs available for you if you choose.
- Drink lots of water and moisturize up until the day of your spray tan.
- 24-48 hours before your tan EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE!! This is the first step to achieving a flawless spray tan. This will clear away dry dead skin cells and will allow the DHA (main ingredient in the spray tan solution used to give you the tan) to do it’s job seamlessly. It is best to use a dry brush or exfoliating mitt, loofahs don’t count!
- Avoid using bar soaps, High PH shower products, or in shower moisturizers. Best to use a gel body wash. Rinse well.
- If you choose to remove body hair, be sure to complete any waxing 48 hours before your tan. Complete shaving, or any depilatory creams (nair) at least 24 hours prior to your session! Razors should lack a moisture strip and preferably be new.
- Don’t touch yourself!! This can result in stained fingers and palms.
- Try not to sweat or get wet before your rinse.
- Please rinse at the time we agree on! This is a rinse in luke warm water with no soaps. Manually use your hands to guide the bronzers off your skin. Cosmetic surface bronzers will wash away but do not fear, you will stay have a beautiful glow after fully developed. It takes up to 24 hours to fully develop.
- Pat dry with your towel, don’t rub.
- Stay away from chlorine, salt water, and hot tubs if possible. If not possible, short dips are recommended. Rinse after ASAP and moisturize!
- Moisturize at least twice a day. I sell tan extender and moisturizer that is an awesome duo and I highly recommend!
